Mark Schaefer

Co-Owner

Mark Schaefer has been performing professionally as a magician and mentalist since 1996, entertaining private, corporate, and international audiences with his unique blend of sleight of hand, technology, and storytelling. His magic career began as a teenager after meeting his biological father, who introduced him to the art form that would shape his life. Over the decades, Mark has performed for audiences ranging from intimate gatherings to large-scale corporate events, earning a reputation for both technical mastery and meaningful, memorable performances.

Alongside his magic career, Mark most recently built a successful 16-year tenure in the technology sector as a Senior Leader at Microsoft. His corporate expertise has taken him around the world, forging strategic relationships and delivering measurable business growth.

In 2025, Mark joined Craig to purchase Audience Wonderland to merge his passion for magic with his expertise in technology and product development. The company designs and produces innovative, professional-grade electronic mentalism devices, drawing on Mark’s decades of performing experience and commitment to reliability, quality, and creativity. Today, he balances running a thriving magic company with performing and spending time with his hobbies such as golf, travel and pickleball.

Carig Filicetti

Co-Owner

Craig Filicetti is an electrical engineer with a master’s degree and more than 20 years of experience in new product development. As the founder of ProMystic and co-founder of PitchCom—the groundbreaking communication system adopted by Major League Baseball—Craig has built a global reputation for delivering innovative, reliable technology solutions that redefine what’s possible in performance and sport.

In addition to his engineering expertise, Craig is a seasoned mentalist and magician, performing under the name Craig Anthony for private, corporate, and theatrical audiences worldwide. You can see his work at www.craiganthonylive.com

In February 2025, Craig partnered with Mark Schaefer to purchase Audience Wonderland, combining Mark’s decades of performing experience with Craig’s engineering mastery to further expand the company’s portfolio of professional-grade electronic mentalism devices.

Zheng Yu

Zheng Yu's journey into the mesmerizing world of magic began in 2008, captivated by the Liu Qian Magic TV show. His newfound passion led him to Hunan University in 2009, where he didn't just join the Magic Association but ascended to its presidency by 2010, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in his life dedicated to the art of illusion.

By May 2020, Zheng's dedication and ingenuity bore fruit with the release of the first impression board, the "Reading Center Board," in the Magic Garden. His groundbreaking work caught the attention of 36Note propelling him into a pivotal role as their project manager. Here, Zheng was instrumental in the mass production of a generation of smart tablets, further solidifying his experience and commitment in pursuit of magic technology. Beyond his technological contributions, Zheng Yu is a talented magician himself, blending his deep understanding of magic with his technical expertise to create truly groundbreaking products.

His journey from a university Magic Association President to a pioneering figure in tech magic is a testament to his hard work and passion for perfection.

Shameer Salim

As the Lead Developer at Audience Wonderland, Shameer Salim has been instrumental in realising the company's ambitious vision for an app that pushes the boundaries of innovation with impression integrations. An experienced software engineer and mentalist, Shameer excels at juggling code and mind games to bring ideas to life - with many of his own successful independent releases including Hydra, Cipher and Iceberg.  

His expertise and passion have been pivotal in transforming ideas into reality, making him an invaluable asset to the team.

Audience Wonderland was created in response to a familiar problem in the magic and mentalism industry: the repeated disappointment of tools that look promising but fail in real-world use.

Too often, products are designed by people outside the craft—those more interested in turning a profit than building something reliable. The result is a flood of effects that appear perfect in trailers but arrive with critical flaws: clunky handling, fragile builds, or methods that fall apart in real-world settings.

One of the original founders, Sam, experienced these exact problems firsthand, investing significant money into expensive tools that never delivered on their promises. Driven by a need for absolute reliability, he set out to engineer a flawless solution: an impression device that worked from edge to edge, maintained a perfect connection, and could be completely trusted under pressure. He shared this creation with his close circle of professional peers, and from that shared need, Audience Wonderland was born.
